Job description
Overview

Responsible for running an IT department. Oversee operations support staffs. Responsible for the IT operations of computer hardware, operating systems, software applications and data processing, monitoring and maintenance of a communications network. Responsible for liaison between IT function and business areas, managing service levels and the ongoing relationship between IT and the business areas. Provides support to end-users in the acquisition, implementation and operation of end-user applications. May also provide advice and training. Responsible for the operation and management of Internet, website, mail server. Prepare or direct IT policy and plan strategy development. Oversee the provision of Software Applications training for users. Control of the security aspects of IT systems. Any other duties as assigned by the GM from time to time.


Key Responsibilities


  • Monitor, propose and organize the computerization of Club’s operation.

  • Implement appropriate system to enhance service to members.

  • Provide system support to end users (back office and operations).

  • Provide reports, statistical data, ad hoc reporting to management as and when required.

  • Provide IT training as and when required.

  • Security: Member’s databases are secured, backup and stored on/off site. Policies on computer, internet, email usage, etc.

  • Proper Maintenance of Computer System & peripherals.

  • Ensure minimal systems disruption and downtime.


Job Requirements


  • Diploma or Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Able to manage email servers, websites, internet, and backup systems.

  • Willing to handle extra tasks as assigned by management.
