Job summary

A local ice rink facility in Selangor is seeking a dedicated individual to oversee the safety and behaviour of skaters, assist in maintenance, and ensure smooth operations. Candidates should have minimum SPM qualifications, be physically fit, and willing to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays. This role includes monitoring admissions, aiding customers, and managing equipment operations.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in ice rink or facility maintenance is an added advantage.
• Must be physically fit and able to work in cold environments.

• Able to operate machinery safely (training will be provided).

Job description

Watches over the safety and behaviour of skaters and assists in the maintenance of the ice rink.

To be stationed at skate rental, on ice and entrance/ exit in order to monitor admissions into the ice rink.

Watches over the safety and behaviour of customers (skaters) through the understanding and implementation of ice rink policies and procedures.

Assists in the maintenance of the ice rink and ensures the proper maintenance of skates and the Skate Rental counter.

Assists the Rink Supervisor in building ice after operation hours.

Acts quickly, safely, and appropriately in medical and non-medical emergencies.

Provides assistance to customers (skaters) in need of help while on the ice.

Assists in meeting the company financial and strategic goals.

Ensures promotional events and functions held at the ice rink run smoothly.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
