Job summary

Aspiration International Secondary School in Malaysia is seeking an experienced MYP Coordinator to lead the implementation and ongoing development of the IB Middle Years Programme within our Secondary School.

The successful candidate will work with the Head of Secondary, teachers, and School Leadership Team to ensure consistent, effective MYP delivery, curriculum development, assessment practices, teacher development and IB programme requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Education or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in an international school.
Strong experience with the IB MYP; prior MYP Coordinator or IB leadership is advantageous.
Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in spoken and written English.
Residing in Malaysia and legally eligible to work.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate the implementation of the IB MYP across the Secondary School.
Ensure alignment with IB Standards and Practices.
Coordinate MYP curriculum planning, mapping and interdisciplinary learning.
Monitor MYP assessment practices and support moderation and reporting.
Provide guidance and professional development to teachers.
Promote ATL skills and IB Learner Profile across students.
Collaborate with leadership on school development and improvement.
Engage parents and the wider school community regarding the MYP.
