OPTIMUM INFOSOLUTIONS (M) SDN BHD is seeking an IAM Application Migration & Test Engineer on a contract basis in Kuala Lumpur. The role focuses on migrating IAM applications while upholding rigorous testing standards and security/compliance checks.

You will plan migrations, design test plans, implement automated tests and support cut-over activities, ensuring minimal disruption and optimal system performance.

Qualifications

• Experience migrating IAM applications and validating migrations.
• Strong testing mindset across functional, integration, security and performance tests.
• Familiarity with security, compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IAM application migrations with minimal business disruption.
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans for migrations.
• Design and execute manual and automated tests for authentication, authorization, provisioning and access controls.
• Perform regression testing to protect existing IAM capabilities after migrations.
• Conduct security and compliance testing to meet organisational policies and standards.
• Document results, defects and issues with prioritization by impact.
• Collaborate with dev, infra and business teams to resolve issues.
• Create test documentation and automation frameworks for reuse.
• Provide support during cut-over and go-live activities.
• Assist post-migration validation and performance monitoring.

OPTIMUM INFOSOLUTIONS (M) SDN BHD is seeking an experienced IAM Application Migration & Test Engineer to join our team on a contract basis. This is a pivotal role that sits at the intersection of identity and access management systems and quality assurance, requiring a professional who can effectively manage the migration of IAM applications whilst ensuring rigorous testing standards are maintained throughout the process. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this position offers the opportunity to work on mission‑critical infrastructure that underpins organisational security and compliance. The role combines technical expertise in IAM systems with comprehensive testing methodologies to ensure seamless application transitions and optimal system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IAM application migrations, working closely with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to business operations and user access
• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans specific to IAM application migrations, covering functional, integration, security and performance testing
• Design and execute manual and automated test cases to validate IAM system functionality, including authentication, authorisation, user provisioning and access control mechanisms
• Conduct regression testing to ensure existing IAM capabilities remain intact following migration activities
• Perform security and compliance testing to verify that migrated IAM applications meet organisational policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Document test results, defects and issues, prioritising them based on severity and business impact
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to resolve identified issues and optimise system performance
• Create and maintain test documentation, test scripts and automation frameworks for future reference and reuse
• Provide technical support during cut‑over and go‑live activities to ensure smooth transition to the new IAM environment
• Participate in post‑migration validation and performance monitoring to identify and address any outstanding concerns
