Job Title: Hydraulic Engineer

Reporting To: Yard Manager

Desirable Qualifications & Certifications:

️ Degree in Mechanical / Fluid Engineering

️ Proficiency in MS-Office, ERP software, hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, EPANET, MIKE 11), AutCAD tools, and GIS applications

Experience & Skills:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in hydraulic equipment design, analysis, and troubleshooting.

Expertise in hydraulic winches, tensioners, powerpacks, reeldrive systems, and controls.

Strong problem-solving abilities in assessing complex hydraulic challenges.

Ability to work with multinational teams, demonstrating adaptability and leadership.

Dedication to continuous learning and professional development.

Main Responsibilities:

Hydraulic System Design: Develop and optimize hydraulic systems for offshore and subsea applications.

Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Maintain, assess, and refine hydraulic equipment, including pumps, motors, cylinders, winches, and power units.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure designs meet industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety guidelines.

Documentation & Reporting: Prepare technical reports, project proposals, and documentation related to hydraulic engineering.
