Job summary

Lam Research in Malaysia is seeking an Assembler to metal and electronic components for wafer fabrication equipment in a lean clean-room environment. You will follow schematics, use hand tools and fixtures to ensure precise setup and tolerances align with specifications.

The role requires 2–4 years in mechanical assembly, an engineering diploma or associate degree, and strong English communication. A hybrid work model with on-site collaborations is offered.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of mechanical or related assembly experience.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
• Proficiency in computer-based data systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and install parts/hardware for wafer fabrication equipment using instructions, schematics, hand tools and fixtures.
• Maintain workflow and production schedules by adapting to priorities and rework requirements.
• Perform visual inspections and verify parts before installation; contribute to safety and quality audits.
• Cross-train in multiple work centers and coach others in specific job functions and continuous improvement.
