Job summary

TMF Administrative Services Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced AP/P2P specialist to own end-to-end processing within assigned scope and manage complex reconciliations with sound judgment.

You will work with multiple stakeholders, ensuring accuracy and compliance across policies and controls. The role requires 3-5 years in P2P/AP or finance operations, strong ERP skills, and a good command of English.

Job description

Own end-to-end processing within assigned scope

Handle exceptions and non-standard cases using judgment

Perform reconciliations and investigate discrepancies

Manage stakeholder communication independently

Ensure compliance with policies, controls, and audits

Maintain ERP data integrity and accuracy

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the direct manager

Competencies and Skills

Applies AP accounting concepts to non‑standard cases (credit notes, accruals, tax basics). Explains AP impacts on P&L/BS at a high level.

Optimizes daily workflow and identifies bottlenecks. Handles exceptions beyond SOPs with sound judgment.

Uses trend analysis and basic KPI diagnostics. Proposes data‑based corrective actions.

Confident with ERP advanced functions (bulk actions, workflow, basic quries). Ensures master data accuracy in scope.

Integrates multiple tools (OCR exceptions, collaboration apps, dashboards). Suggests small automations/macros.

Uses lookups, conditional logic, pivot tables for reconciliations and variance checks. Builds clean, reusable templates.

Tailors messages to stakeholders (procurement, treasury, vendors). Facilitates swift resolution across teams.

Owns outcomes end‑to‑end; anticipates blockers and reprioritizes. Initiates improvements with measurable impact.

Deconstructs issues, tests options, and implements fixes that prevent recurrence. Documents learnings.

Takes accountability for outcomes, influences peers positively, role‑models collaborative behaviors.

Key Requirements:

University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

3-5 years of experience in P2P/AP or finance operations

Experience with ERP systems

Hands-on experience in reconciliations and issue resolution

Good command of English
