Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience developing, deploying, and maintaining production applications.
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, REST APIs, Git, and relational databases.
• Practical knowledge of Linux servers, CI/CD workflows, deployments, and production monitoring.
• Experience with automated testing, debugging, application security, and performance optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance features using Next.js (TypeScript) and Python (FastAPI).
• Build and integrate REST APIs, payment gateways, and third-party services.
• Manage PostgreSQL databases, optimise queries, and troubleshoot performance issues.
• Debug production issues, write automated tests, and maintain secure, reliable code.
• Deliver features from development and testing through to deployment.
• Support Linux VPS infrastructure, production environments, and application deployments.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, deployment scripts, and basic automation.
• Monitor system uptime, logs, server health, and application performance.
