Job summary

BJAK is seeking a hands-on full stack engineer to build across frontend, backend, APIs and databases for our AI Neobank app. This role rewards product-minded engineers who can move quickly between frontend, backend, internal tools and customer journeys.

You will ship features, collaborate with product, design, mobile, backend and AI engineers, and help scale internal tools and automations. English is the working language; Malaysia-based hybrid work from our office at least 3 days per week.

Qualifications

• Strong full stack engineering experience with real shipped products.
• Comfortable across frontend, backend, APIs, databases and production debugging.
• Good frontend execution using React, Next.js, Vue or similar modern stack.
• Good backend fundamentals around APIs, data models, authentication, integrations and reliability.
• Strong product sense and ability to simplify messy workflows.
• Able to work fast with ambiguity and own outcomes end‑to‑end.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship full product features across frontend, backend, APIs and databases.
• Create customer and internal workflows for onboarding, accounts, payments, rewards, travel, FX, support automation, KYC and risk.
• Turn ambiguous product problems into working systems with clean UX and reliable backend logic.
• Work closely with product, design, mobile, backend and AI engineers to launch fast and improve after release.
• Build internal tools and automation that reduce manual work and help teams operate at scale.
• Own your work beyond release: monitor, debug, learn and improve.
