Job summary

BJAK Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Android Engineer to build the native Android experience for our AI Neobank App. You will focus on clean user flows, high performance and reliable mobile features used by real customers.

You'll collaborate with product, design, backend and AI teams to take features from idea to production, owning app quality and delivering updates that improve onboarding, accounts and payments.

Qualifications

• Strong native Android experience with Kotlin and Jetpack components.
• Experience shipping Android apps used by real users.
• Solid understanding of Android architecture (Jetpack, Coroutines, Flow).
• Strong product sense and focus on UX.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship native Android features for onboarding, accounts, cards, payments, transfers, and AI-assisted journeys.
• Turn complex financial flows into fast, reliable mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend and AI engineers from idea to production.
• Own app quality across performance, crashes, loading states, and release stability.
• Utilize analytics and feedback to improve features post-launch.
• Ensure secure data handling and reliable integration with APIs.
