Job summary

K-Navitas Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a data analytics professional to assist in BI and statistical modelling projects, data mapping, ETL development, and dashboard creation. You will perform data exploration, analysis, and design technical specifications while collaborating with teams to deliver data-driven solutions.

The role requires strong SQL/SAS familiarity, excellent English communication, and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Statistics/Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, CS, IT or equivalent.
• Analytical minded, meticulous, versatile in problem solving, with a keen eye for detail
• Passion in data analytics & knowledge in data related scripting skill is core
• Curious, self-motivated, eager to learn, and not afraid to ask questions
• Strong interpersonal & presentation skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and work independently when required
• Familiarity with Microsoft SQL, SAS data tools is preferred
• Skilled in using Microsoft Office
• Good & reasonable command of English in both verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Assist in business requirements gathering to meet the objectives of business intelligence and statistical modelling projects
• Assist in data mapping activities to ensure data elements required are identified and undertake data readiness assessment
• Develop and implement designed data acquisition modules to acquire BI related data, develop functional and appealing web-based applications based on usability
• Data exploration, statistical data analysis and statistical modelling work
• Develop and implement designed data solution ETL (extract, transform and load) modules, multi-dimensional cubes, business/MIS reports and dashboards based on functional and technical specifications
• Develop functional requirements and technical design documents, test plans, rollout plans and data mapping rules documents (Source Data to Target Repositories)
• Monitor and tune data solution process performance
