Job summary

COOLTECH ENGINEERING SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Junior Executive to join our HVAC maintenance team. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on split units, chillers, AHUs, FCUs and related ventilation systems across industrial facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a Certificate/Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or related engineering, possesses a CIDB Green Card, and has 2–5 years of HVAC maintenance experience in corporate or industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Certificate/Diploma in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or related engineering field.
• CIDB Green Card required.
• 2–5 years of HVAC maintenance experience in industrial, factory, commercial, or office environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including split units, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, and ventilation systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, cooling, refrigerant, and compressor faults.
• Conduct servicing, refrigerant charging/recovery, leak testing, and system performance checks.
• Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Assist with HVAC installation, upgrading, testing, and commissioning.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors for major repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, SOPs, and statutory requirements.
• Respond to breakdowns and support shift, standby, and overtime duties when required.
