Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an HVAC Technician to install and service HVAC units, ductwork, and control components on-site in Kapar, Selangor. The role requires following safety rules, performing preventative maintenance, and reading blueprints while logging activities for project managers.

The position offers a Mon–Sat schedule with 5.5 days and a basic monthly salary in the RM4,000–RM5,000 range, depending on experience. applicants should have 1–3 years of related work in HVAC/MEP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years hands-on technical experience with HVAC or MEP systems.
• Knowledge of thermodynamics, blueprints, electrical wiring, and proper tool handling.
• Experience with routine/preventive maintenance and fault diagnosis is a plus.

Responsibilities

• System Installation: Set up HVAC units, ductwork, and control components on-site.
• Routine Maintenance: Conduct preventative checks, clean filters, and test system performance.
• Fault Diagnosis: Identify and repair electrical or mechanical faults in units.
• Compliance & Safety: Adhere to safety rules and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• System Installation: Set up new HVAC units, ductwork, and control components safely on-site.
• Routine Maintenance: Run preventative checks, clean filters, and test system performance.Fault Diagnosis: Find and fix electrical or mechanical errors in broken units.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow strict workplace safety rules and environmental laws regarding parts and refrigerants.
• Technical Reporting: Read blueprints, log maintenance activities, and report equipment updates to project managers.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma with a trade school certificate, apprenticeship, or diploma in mechanical/electrical engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 1 to 3 years of hands-on technical experience with HVAC or MEP systems.
