Job summary

A leading industrial manufacturer located in Batu Berendam, Melaka, is seeking an experienced HVAC Operations Technician. The candidate will oversee operational routines and maintenance activities, ensuring smooth operation of plant facilities. Responsibilities include training new technicians, troubleshooting, and maintaining inventory of spare parts. A minimum of 5 years in the HVAC field and supervisory experience is required. This role emphasizes safety practices and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience related to HVAC system installation, operation, and maintenance.
• Essential knowledge of HVAC operation and troubleshooting.
• Familiar with documentation processes such as PTW and Maintenance Reports.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift personnel to ensure smooth operation of infra services.
• Assist shift technicians with operational and maintenance activities.
• Verify data collection to ensure zero human error.
• Train new shift technicians on operation and maintenance.
• Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis at site.
• Ensure accountability for housekeeping and 5S practices.
• Maintain spare parts and tools inventory.

Job Requirement

• To ensure the continuous smooth operation of Plant Facilities infra services by coordinate the shift personal on operation routine and attend compliant or breakdown.
• To assist Shift technician to execute operational & maintenance activity e.g. changeover equipment. To ensure the activity carried out without interrupt to production and in good safety practice.
• Verify the data collection by shift personal and ensure zero human error during data collection.
• To train new shift technician on normal operation and maintenance routine.
• To support team on troubleshooting and root cause finding at site, meeting, and presentation.
• Accountability for housekeeping and 5S practice to all responsible area.
• To ensure spare part and tools inventory always in place for operation and maintenance activity.
