ISP Humanities Teacher Role Profile

Purpose of Role

We are seeking a compassionate special education teacher experienced in teaching students with special needs. The ideal candidate will be patient, innovative, and organized, committed to helping students overcome learning obstacles.

We are a unique campus, home to Tenby International School, which consists of a Primary and Secondary School (IPC, National Curriculum for England, CIE, IGCSE), and a Malaysian Private School, Sekolah Sri Tenby (Malaysian National Curriculum). The campus welcomes almost 1000 amazing students, aged from 3 to 16 years, and from over 60 nationalities. ISP Humanities Teacher Responsibilities

  1. Plan and deliver engaging lessons in History and Geography that align with curriculum objectives.
  2. Inspire students to explore the world’s past and understand its geography.
  3. Incorporate a variety of teaching methods to cater to diverse learning styles.
  4. Assess and support student progress, ensuring academic excellence.
  5. Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a vibrant and inclusive learning community.

Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  1. A Bachelor’s degree in History, Geography, Education, or a related field.
  2. Recognized teaching certification (e.g., PGCE, PGCEi).
  3. Proven experience teaching History and Geography at [insert level, e.g., secondary].
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  5. Passion for education and inspiring young minds.
