Exciting Opportunity for Human Resources Specialist / Generalist!

Our clients, a global leader in the dental orthodontics field is in search for an experienced and seasoned HR Specialist to joining their newly set up team in Malaysia as part of their expansion plan!

This will be a fully on-site role based out of Petaling Jaya, Selangor in Malaysia, a first hire in Malaysia and the right person will have the necessary experience in the HR function to hit the ground running!

Human Resources Specialist

Recruitment (50%)

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: align with business units on hiring needs, draft/align job descriptions, optimize recruitment platforms, screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and handle offer processes.
  • Build and maintain a recruitment database using hiring metrics and training conversion data to refine sourcing strategies and interview methodologies.
  • Lead campus recruitment initiatives and enhance employer branding efforts.

Onboarding & Orientation (20%)

  • Streamline onboarding workflows and deliver comprehensive new hire orientations to ensure smooth integration.

Training Coordination & Analysis (20%)

  • Coordinate training programs, track participation, and analyze training effectiveness to identify success factors in training, such as employees’ graduation university and major, etc. Use these factors to continuously update the recruitment database and enhance recruitment effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement & Ad Hoc Tasks (10%)

  • Identify process efficiencies and support cross-functional HR projects as needed.

Ideal requirements

  • Diploma or higher in human resources or related field
  • min. 3 years of experience in full-cycle recruitment, and HR ops
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese
  • Prior experience in fast paced organization is a plus
