Job description

1.Talent Acquisition

  • Identify and analyse manpower requirements to support effective organization structure and increase utilisation of resources, aligned towards the business direction.
  • Source and provide quality candidates to Hiring Managers within a stipulated timeframe and close the assigned positions according to the timeline set out in the KPIs.
  • Drive Employer Branding activities such as university career talks, career fairs, strategic partnerships with schools etc. To work closely with Group Human Resources in ensuring high-quality and innovative employer branding activities to attract talents.
  • Ensure that all pre-onboard, onboarding and blending-in programmes for new employees are implemented, and recommend continuous improvements to enrich employee’s orientation experience.
  • Conduct exit interviews with resigned employees, gain constructive feedback and gauge attrition reasons, recommend necessary actions for improvement.
  • Responsible for foreign workers matters, including manpower planning, submission of documents for foreign workers application, renewal & cancellation of work permits, arranging workers for FOMEMA check-up and handle any disciplinary and grievances.

2.Compensation & Benefits

  • Provides consultation, guidance, and support to relevant parties on compensation-related issues, such as market analysis and business intelligence.
  • Develop and manage manpower budget and utilization to support cost optimization and productivity.
  • Responsible for managing monthly payroll and claims to ensure the submission of statutory contributions are in compliance with no penalties cases.
  • Manage, monitor, and control monthly payroll and claims processes. Ensure submissions of required deductions to relevant government agencies.
  • Ensure submission of input into the HRIS system is accurate and complete to support organisational effectiveness.

3.Performance Management

  • Drive performance culture and ensure effective implementation of a performance management system which includes advising staff in KPIs setting, understanding of core and leadership competencies.
  • Implement a performance-linked rewards management system for the company.

4. Organisational Development and Learning & Development

  • Conduct training needs analysis and recommends improvement programmes to close competency gaps and build strong staff capabilities.
  • Prepare and monitor yearly training budget and programmes for employees to inculcate a learning & growth culture at the Plant.

5.Employee Engagement

  • Drive employee engagement activities such as family day, annual dinner, sports day, breakfast engagement, quarterly engagement sessions and etc to foster relationships amongst colleagues.
  • Recommend the necessary initiatives to continuously strive for a harmonious working environment amongst the employees.

6.Industrial Relations

  • Advise employees on state and federal employment regulations, collective agreements, benefits and compensation policies, personnel procedures and classification programs.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in HR management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role in a multinational organization.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations across different regions.
  • Experience managing cross-functional HR projects with a focus on improving organizational effectiveness.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse, and evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software, including HRIS, recruitment tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD, etc.) are a plus.
  • Experience with multi-country HR management and understanding of international labor laws.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is advantageous.
