Job summary

Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara is seeking an HR Manager to oversee a broad range of HR administrative duties and lead a team in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, communication and payroll/benefits knowledge, with experience in staffing, labor law and employee relations. Local candidates with working rights in Malaysia are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in HR Management or related field.
• Strong leadership skills to guide an HR team and support staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience in hotels or large establishments is an advantage.
• Knowledge of local labor laws and employment regulations.

Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont Kiara- is the first Hyatt House hotel in Malaysia and South East Asia. Located in Mont’ Kiara, an affluent suburb located 5km from downtown Kuala Lumpur, the hotel features approximately 298 guestrooms, a three-meal restaurant, 3,100 square feet of meeting space, a fitness centre, and a sky pool.

We are looking for talent to join as Human Resources Manager in Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur, Mont’Kiara. This critical role will undertake a variety of HR administrative duties. We are looking to employ an individual with outstanding administrative and communication skills. You are expected to be a conceptual thinker with superb organizational and time management skills. You must be reliable and should accurately follow instructions with the ability to multitask and acclimatize in a fast-paced environment. To ensure success, you should display remarkable conflict management and decision-making skills with a solid understanding of employee relationships, staffing management, and payroll and benefits administration. Key Requirements and Qualifications:

• Possess a Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management or any major related field
• Previous experience working in hotels or similar large establishments is an added advantage
• Exposure to local labor law and employment regulations
• Strong leadership skills to guide an HR team and support and motivate staff
• The ability to remain calm in stressful situations including during disciplinary hearings or staff conflicts
• A good working knowledge of English Language/ Proficiency in local language may be required
• A critical leader with utmost attention to details
• Ability to communicate proactively with team members and guests
• Ability to multi task and work under minimal supervision
• Pleasant personality and good work attitude
• Values teamwork and able to motivate team members to achieve goals
