A Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing first-class employee relations services to the hotel to deliver an excellent staff experience while assisting with Human Resources strategy and managing succession planning.

What will I be doing?

As a Human Resources Manager, you are responsible for providing first-class employee relations services to the hotel to deliver an excellent staff experience. You will also manage succession planning and assist the HR Director with strategy. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing and delivering first-class employee relations services to the hotel
  • Assisting the Human Resources Director with HR strategy
  • Managing succession planning with senior managers during bi-annual appraisals
  • Handling employee relations issues confidentially, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability matters
  • Supporting managers to ensure team success
  • Ensuring recruitment and selection processes are followed, including immigration checks
  • Supporting departmental training requirements
  • Completing management reports for head office and regional offices
  • Controlling costs and assisting in meeting financial targets
  • Managing pay reviews, absence monitoring, and wage queries in line with company guidelines
  • Completing training on security, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
  • Collaborating with local organizations and schools to promote the hospitality industry
  • Resolving team member and management queries
