A Human Resources Manager is responsible for providing first-class employee relations services to the hotel to deliver an excellent staff experience, while assisting with Human Resources strategy and managing succession planning.

What will I be doing?

As a Human Resources Manager, you will be responsible for providing first-class employee relations services to the hotel to deliver an excellent staff experience. You will also manage succession planning and support the HR Director with strategy. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing and delivering exceptional employee relations services
  • Assisting the Human Resources Director with HR strategy
  • Managing succession planning with senior managers during bi-annual appraisals
  • Handling employee relations issues confidentially, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability matters
  • Supporting managers to ensure team success
  • Ensuring recruitment and selection processes are followed, including immigration checks
  • Supporting departmental training requirements
  • Completing management reports for head office and region
  • Controlling costs and helping meet financial targets
  • Managing pay reviews, absence monitoring, and wage queries according to company guidelines
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, including training on security and fire regulations
  • Collaborating with local organizations and schools to promote the hospitality industry
  • Resolving team member and management queries
