Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Assistant HR Manager located in Prai, Penang.

What a typical day looks like:
  1. Builds HR process management system, sorts out GBS HR core business processes, establishes a unified service process and operation specification. Continuously updates and optimizes SOP and SLA, and monitors process execution under operational metrics to adhere to standard operating procedures and comply with the Service Level Acceptance.
  2. Provides effective tools and methods for transferring new processes, standardization, and integrating services into GBS HR, seeking an integrated transformation.
  3. Improves service efficiency and partner satisfaction through standardization, informatization, and digitalization.
  4. Coordinates with HRBP and COE to ensure delivery of additional HR resources, such as Organization Development, Talent Management, and Compensation, to diagnose, develop, and deliver timely, comprehensive, and relevant solutions to the business. Also researches and audits cases received through various contact channels to ensure KPI compliance with established goals.
  5. Drives lean culture: continuous improvement of HR processes and efficiency methodologies, RPA, and IT automation initiatives within the team, resulting in process automation, standardization, and increased productivity. Interacts with different teams on improvement initiatives.
  6. Maintains strong stakeholder management: suggests and researches alternative HR solutions for daily team operations, manages escalations, and maintains highly contributive relationships with HRBPs, COEs, and other departments and sites.
  7. Participates with HRBPs and COEs in frequent programs such as Annual Reflection, Goal Setting, Profit Sharing, Open Enrollment, and other events as requested.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
  • Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a Human Resources-related function.
  • Typically requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in Human Resources or related fields, including HR, consulting, project management, and change management.
  • Experience in full HR functions such as TA, TM, HR BP, and TR is preferred.
