Human Resources Manager

Exciting opportunity with a leading chemical MNC based in Sandakan, Sabah! As a HR Manager, you will oversee a large workforce across the Sabah region, with travel across East Malaysia to support manpower planning and HR decision-making.

You will report to the Head of Department and Regional Director in Sandakan. The ideal candidate must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage human resource operations for the Sabah region.
• Lead, manage, and facilitate the legalization process for foreign workers.
• Establish connections and liaise with local and foreign government agencies to ensure recruitment of foreign workers complies with legal requirements and runs smoothly.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying legislation, anticipating changes, enforcing adherence, and advising management on necessary actions.
• Support operational efforts to attract talent and provide soft skills training to motivate and develop leaders.
• Organize and implement CSR activities, academic collaborations, career exhibitions, and staff welfare events.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource, Management, Business Studies, or equivalent from a recognized university.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Human Resources and Administration.
• Willingness to travel across East Malaysia.
