A leading resort in Kedah is seeking a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR practices and processes. The role includes managing recruitment, performance management, training, employee relations, and compliance with labor laws. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and 5-7 years of HR experience, including 3 years in a managerial role. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates.
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
Collaborate with department heads to understand workforce requirements.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
Foster a positive workplace culture by promoting employee engagement and satisfaction.
Address employee concerns, grievances, and disciplinary matters in a fair and consistent manner.
Facilitate open communication between management and staff.
3. Training & Development
Identify training needs and create learning and development programs.
Support leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
Evaluate training effectiveness and employee progress.
4. Performance Management
Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance improvement.
Ensure alignment of performance goals with organizational objectives.
5. Compensation & Benefits
Administer payroll, benefits, and incentive programs in compliance with regulations.
Conduct market benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation structures.
Recommend adjustments to salary and benefits packages when necessary.
6. Compliance & Policy Management
Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory regulations, and company policies.
Develop, implement, and update HR policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
7. HR Strategy & Planning
Contribute to the development of organizational strategies by providing HR insights.
Forecast workforce needs and develop HR plans accordingly.
Support organizational change initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of labor laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proven ability to manage conflicts and maintain confidentiality.
Proficiency in HR software and MS Office Suite.
