The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for Malaysia and Singapore offices, including: screening, shortlisting, interviewing, job offering, hiring, and onboarding.
Compensation & Benefits
Develop and maintain a competitive compensation policy based on market research and surveys.
Analyze compensation and benefits trends to ensure alignment with industry standards.
Employee Development
Design training programs and performance management systems to clarify job expectations.
Conduct performance and salary reviews.
Conflict Resolution & Compliance
Investigate and resolve employee issues and conflicts fairly and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal labor laws.
HR Policy & Strategy
Consistently enforce company HR policies.
Partner with management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Design and implement employee retention strategies.
HR Operations
Maintain and optimize HR systems and processes.
Provide guidance and mentorship to HR staff.
Assist in setting up and optimizing the back-end office operations in Johor, Malaysia, ensuring a smooth transition and efficient HR workflows in the new location.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably experience in covering Malaysia & Singapore
Ability to identify automation opportunities and implement system improvements will be a strong advantage.
Familiarity with optimizing HRMS platforms (BIPO experience preferred)
Familiar with Malaysia’s labour regulations and HR best practices.
Excellent people management skills and organizational skills.
