Work Location: Kota Southkey, Johor Bahru

We are looking for a committed and strategic HR Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions at our Johor Bahru office. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business goals, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and fostering a positive workplace culture. This role will require close collaboration with the HR team in Singapore and a strong command of HR best practices in Malaysia.

Key Accountabilities

• Oversee and lead all core HR functions, including manpower planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management, learning & development, and succession planning.
• Drive HR strategy implementation at the site level to support business objectives and workforce effectiveness.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on employee relations, organizational design, and talent development.
• Lead disciplinary and grievance processes in accordance with Malaysian labour law and company policies.
• Supervise payroll administration to ensure timely and accurate processing, including statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, etc.).
• Ensure compliance with all relevant Malaysian employment legislation and statutory reporting requirements.
• Oversee HR documentation and processes, including the issuance of employment letters, confirmations, increment, warnings, and exit management.
• Manage employee benefits programs and HR operational support (claims, leave, medical, etc.).
• Champion employee engagement initiatives and lead change management efforts for organisational development.
• Collaborate with the Singapore HR team on cross-border HR initiatives and reporting.
• Lead and mentor any supporting HR personnel as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a managerial or leadership role.
• Strong working knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act and statutory HR requirements.
• Proficient in HRMS and payroll systems; hands-on payroll experience is an advantage.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex HR matters and influence stakeholders at various levels.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism in handling confidential information.
• Ability to work independently, think strategically, and lead operational execution efficiently.
