We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our team. As the HR Generalist, you will support a broad range of HR functions across recruitment, employee relations, HR operations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. The role requires strong HR operational expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, technical, and performance-driven environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably within an engineering, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
- Experience supporting a regional or multi-country workforce is a plus.
- Experience with MS Office applications and HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Experience with e-recruitment platforms.
- Familiarity with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 45001) is an added advantage.

Technical responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and execute recruitment strategies.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including interviews, assessments, and offer negotiation.
- Conduct new hire onboarding and orientation programs to ensure seamless integration into the organization.
- Organize career fairs with local universities or industry partners.
Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the first point of contact for employee queries, providing HR guidance where appropriate.
- Support performance management cycles, including probation reviews and annual appraisals.
- Champion engagement initiatives, employee surveys, and team-building activities.
HR Operations & Compliance
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure data integrity in HR systems (HRIS).
- Prepare regular HR reports (headcount, turnover, training hours, etc.) for management.
- Support compliance with the Malaysian Employment Act, OSHA, and company-specific policies.
- Assist in audits and implementation of HR policies aligned to local legal standards.
Training & Development
- Coordinate technical and soft-skills training programs.
- Monitor employee development plans and training effectiveness.
- Track training attendance, maintain training records and certifications, and solicit feedback to improve future offerings.
Compensation & Benefits
- Support monthly payroll administration and benefits management in collaboration with the Finance team and external providers.
- Assist with salary surveys and benchmarking exercises.
- Liaise with vendors for benefits programs (insurance, wellness, etc.)
