About the role

Hong Teck Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced and dedicated Human Resources Executive to join our team in Seelong, Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for driving the company's HR initiatives and ensuring the smooth operation of all HR-related functions.

What you'll be doing

Manage the full life cycle of the employee journey, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management

Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and best practices to ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations

Conduct staff training and development programmes to enhance employee skills and knowledge

Administer payroll and leave management processes to ensure accurate and timely processing

Provide HR support and guidance to employees and managers on a wide range of HR-related matters

Manage foreign worker pass and accommodation.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the company's strategic objectives

Maintain accurate HR records and generate reports as required

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role, preferably within the manufacturing or engineering industry

Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels

Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, and HR information systems

Problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or a related field
