Job description

To support, administer and execute the Company’s HR strategy in compliance with the Group’s HR policies, service delivery targets, safe recruitment practices, engagement and retention strategies. The HR Business Partner will administer a HR partnering role for REAL Kids entities and reports to the Head of Business for REAL Kids.

Support Senior Leaders and hiring managers in recruitment and talent management – job ad postings, renewal of credits / contracts for contracted job sites, scheduling of interviews, staff retention / promotions / resignations / terminations, probation / appraisal process monitoring and reporting, etc.

Partner with Senior Leaders in managing manpower budgets and movements and provide periodic updates to Finance and Senior Management where required.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for providing end-to-end HR administrative support to REAL Kids centers.

Builds and maintains strong business relationships with the center team and key stakeholders.

Ensure the Principal and management team are aware of employment laws and regulations, with targeted training as required.

Maintain and keep abreast of the employment regulations and advise management on compliance and risk factors.

Acts as the performance improvement driver and provokes positive changes in relation to people management.

Supports the principal and management team with cultural changes across the centers through a variety of different and enabling managers to be more effective with their staff, providing tools and up-skilling managers to take on greater responsibility for their staff

Implements HR initiatives and acts as a trusted adviser to guide and support staff and the management team, providing high-level people management and development support.

Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to cover risks and improve practices; reviews and proposes changes.

Leads and supports the managers with performance reviews, and salary reviews and works with the principal and management team and XCL Education Head Office to ensure salary revisions are aligned with roles policies.

Manages HR projects cross-functionally ensuring effective communication, change management, and project management.

Provide expert guidance to hiring managers and HR team members in the recruitment process, ensuring operating plans and budgets are met.

Captures learning and development needs and provides appropriate interventions.

Promotes the use of HR systems where applicable, and educates staff on HR policies and procedures, challenging appropriately as necessary.

Responsible for dealing with workplace conflicts and grievances through effective mediation and conducting investigations as necessary.

Act as the HR lead for all matters associated with Safeguarding at the centers and other compliance matters.
