A leading company in the printing and packaging industry is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support day-to-day operations. Responsibilities include managing employee databases, recruitment, payroll processing, and ensuring compliance with company policies. Candidates should possess a relevant educational background and demonstrate strong organizational skills. The role offers various employee benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
Provide general administrative support and handle day-to-day Human Resources operations effectively and efficiently.
Maintain and regularly update the employee database to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.
Assist in employee relations activities, including supporting the end-to-end recruitment process such as job posting, interview arrangements, and onboarding.
Assist in monthly payroll processing by preparing relevant data and ensuring timely submission to the payroll team or vendor.
Ensure proper documentation, correspondence, reports, filing, and record-keeping are in line with company policies and regulatory guidelines.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity in handling all HR-related matters and sensitive employee information.
Manage the full spectrum of foreign worker matters, including recruitment, permit renewal, FOMEMA arrangements, passport renewal, and coordination with immigration and embassies.
Actively participate in both HR and administrative functions, demonstrating hands-on involvement and multitasking capabilities.
Liaise with government agencies such as the Immigration Department, Labour Department (JTK), and relevant embassies for compliance and operational matters.
Perform other duties and ad hoc tasks as assigned by the HR & Admin Manager from time to time.
Who are we looking for?
Candidate must possess at least STPM/Certificate/Diploma/Degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent.
Hardworking with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Proactive & resourceful with the ability to work independently.
Able to perform multi-tasking function and meet deadlines.
Able to start work immediately will be an added advantage.
Must possess computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint)
