A leading company specializing in manufacturing seeks a Human Resources & Admin Assistant Manager to oversee recruitment, payroll, and employee relations. This role requires a bachelor's degree and relevant experience in HR, particularly within the manufacturing sector. As part of a dynamic team, you will manage various HR functions and ensure compliance with local labor laws.
Assist in end-to-end recruitment process (job postings, screening, interviews, offer letters)
Coordinate new employee onboarding and orientation programs
Payroll & Benefits Administration:
Process monthly payroll including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB deductions
Administer employee benefits (medical claims, leave records, insurance)
Employee Relations:
Maintain employee records and personal files
Assist in handling employee grievances and disciplinary matters
Compliance & Policies:
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws (Employment Act, etc.)
Assist in updating HR policies and employee handbook
Training & Development:
Coordinate training programs and maintain training records
Process HRDF training grant applications
2. Office Administration
General Administration:
Manage office supplies and equipment maintenance
Handle company correspondence and documentation
Facilities Management:
Oversee office maintenance and vendor management
Coordinate workplace safety and security matters
Reporting & Documentation:
Prepare HR reports (attendance, turnover, training)
Maintain proper filing system for all HR and admin documents
Requirements
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
For Executive:2-4 years HR & Admin experience
For Senior Executive:5-7 years HR & Admin experience
Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
Knowledge of Malaysian employment laws and HR practices
Proficient in HRMS/payroll software and MS Office
Excellent communication skills in Mandarin, English & Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
