We are seeking a self-driven, customer oriented and highly organized HR executive with strong communication and organizational skills to take on administrative tasks in our HR Department with a deep understanding of government laws and regulations to ensure compliance. As an HR executive, you will be a critical part of the HR department in managing employee recruitment, payroll, appraisal, learning and development while maintaining HR records and assisting in driving improvements to create a positive work environment.

POSITION SUMMARY
This position is responsible for a full spectrum of Human Resource functions including recruitment and selection, compensation and benefits, payroll processing, performance management, employee relations, industrial relations, and other HR matters. Since the HR role is newly formalized, it will include streamlining the current processes and assisting in setting up new processes and policies aligning to the organization core values and growth strategies.
PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the hiring process which includes job posting, interviewing candidates, conducting reference checks, employee orientation and onboarding program.
Manage HR operations such as payroll processing, timely updating and maintaining of personal records in HR system, tracking of service confirmation and staff movement.
Ensure legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements while maintaining HR policies and procedures.
Prepare and maintain appropriate documentation, including Employee Handbook, letters, reports, agreements, and internal communications with high integrity to meet compliance and internal audit requirements.
Administer performance plan and appraisal to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
Assist in facilitating the people leaders to identify training & development and succession needs to grow leadership bench strength and retain talents.
Organize training and activities to create a positive work environment and promote employee relations for increased morale and learning culture, such as maintaining 5S in workplace, CSR, Employee Engagement activities and teambuilding.
Assist in handling all allegations of staff misconduct and administering appropriate disciplinary actions, including carrying out domestic inquiry in accordance with the requirements of the Employment Act.
Prepare reports and key performance metrics for management reviews to drive improvements and corrective actions.
Assist in implementing new processes, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvements to achieve organization efficiency and HR service quality.
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
Carry out, as and when required, any additional tasks and responsibilities which are reasonably compatible with this job description and objectives.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, communications, or related field.
Preferably more than 3 years working experience in the related field.
Strong analytical, presentation, organizational and problem-solving skills.
Possess strong interpersonal skills, with a passion for people and engagement.
Ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations effectively and professionally.
Knowledge of Employment Act, local practices, and employment requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Well-versed in MS Office applications, especially in PowerPoint presentations and Excel.
Proficient in Human Resources Management Systems, such as MyWave Emplx.
