Job description

Assist the Senior in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, including compensation and benefits (payroll), manpower planning, training, employee relations, industrial relations, regional country matters, and other HR-related activities;

Support the development and implementation of HR strategies, policies, and practices to ensure compliance with company rules and corporate governance standards;

Ensure adherence to legal requirements affecting HR functions, such as the Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other statutory regulations;

Investigate employee issues and grievances, facilitating their resolution;

Assist in administering the annual performance management process, including performance and salary reviews and proposals;

Collaborate closely with Department Heads to understand their HR support needs;

Manage regional HR matters;

Assist with foreign worker matters, including work permit applications and renewals;

Participate actively in employee engagement and welfare activities;

Provide HR reports as required by management;

Handle comprehensive foreign worker matters, including hiring, onboarding, visa and permit applications, compliance, payroll, resignation, and disciplinary issues;

Coordinate with external agencies and government authorities regarding foreign worker compliance and documentation;

Monitor foreign worker attendance and performance;

Prepare necessary documentation for foreign workers, such as employment contracts, medical forms, salary deduction forms, and warning letters;

Arrange medical care for unwell foreign workers;

Coordinate logistics with external transport and hostel management providers;

Manage employee benefits and leave entitlements, including medical leave, compassionate leave, maternity/paternity leave, vaccination leave, overtime, replacement leave, and hardship claims;

Oversee employee relaxation activities, such as recreational zones with games and facilities;
