Responsibilities
- Handle full spectrum of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR admin.
- Draft employment contracts, update employee records, and maintain HR databases.
- Coordinate with department heads for manpower planning and job postings.
- Assist in preparing monthly payroll inputs (attendance, OT, leave records, claims).
- Manage leave applications, medical claims, staff welfare and HR-related inquiries.
- Support development of HR SOPs, staff handbook, and performance appraisal systems.
- Assist with disciplinary actions, warning letters, and employee grievances.
- Plan internal staff engagement activities (team building, festive events, birthday celebrations).
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, LHDN).
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Admin or related field.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in HR generalist role (SME or project-based company experience is a plus).
- Familiar with Malaysia Employment Act and statutory regulations.
- Strong communication, people, and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software (knowledge of payroll systems is a bonus).
