About the role

We are looking for a talented Human Resource Executive to join our dynamic team in Ipoh, Perak. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for supporting the HR function and contributing to the overall success of the company.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Recruitment & Onboarding/Offboarding: Managing the full cycle of recruitment including posting job advertisements, candidate sourcing, screening applications, scheduling interviews and conducting reference checks. Support the onboarding and offboarding processes, including documentation, orientation programs, induction sessions, and managing exit interviews. Source and manage recruitment platforms such as Jobstreet, Company’s LinkedIn, etc. Attend recruitment-related activities, such as career fairs and campaigns.
  2. Training & Development: Identifying competency gaps and training needs. Planning and executing training and development programs to upskill employees and meet organizational needs.
  3. HR Administration: Preparing HR correspondence, tracking staff confirmations, probation periods, and performance review dates. Maintaining and updating employee records within the HR Information System (HRIS) and physical files. Ensuring compliance with HR policies and labour laws. Assisting in organizing company staff engagement activities and events to foster a positive work culture. Participating in HR projects and initiatives to improve HR processes. Undertaking any ad-hoc assignments as required.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a similar HR role.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles, policies, and labour regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage).
  • Proficient in MS Office and HR information systems.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently and in a team.
  • Willing to travel as required.
