Job summary

A leading organization in HR management in Malaysia is seeking a Human Resource Officer to manage payroll, recruitment, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field, possess strong interpersonal skills, and have sound knowledge of employment regulations. Experience with HR/Payroll software is preferred. This role also involves liaising with government bodies and monitoring office facilities. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Preferably 2 years of relevant experience or fresh graduates are encouraged.
  • Sound knowledge of Employment Act and statutory regulations.

Job description

Perform full spectrum of Human Resource duties such as payroll processing, compensations and benefits, employee relations and recruitment.

Administer and liaise with government bodies on all statutory matters.

Prepare HR related correspondence and documentation with careful attention to both legal requirements and HR practice.

Attend to employees’ disciplinary issues, grievances and complaints.

Monitor and liaise with contractors/vendors on the maintenance and upkeep of office equipment, stationaries and other facilities.

Perform any other ad hoc duties as assigned by superior from time to time.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management/Psychology or equivalent.

Preferably 2 years relevant working experience in Human Resources but fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Sound knowledge of Employment Act and statutory regulations.

Hands on experience in HR/Payroll software would be added advantage, preferably in HR 2000 software.

Familiar with Microsoft Office.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to interact and engage staff at all levels.

Possess high degree of confidentiality to uphold private and confidential information.
