A leading company in Johor is seeking a Human Resources professional to manage payroll, recruitment, and compliance with labor laws. This role requires a degree or diploma in HR or Business Administration, along with significant HR experience. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting organizational goals and have a strong understanding of payroll systems and labor law regulations.
• At least a Diploma/Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or equivalent qualifications.
• Preferred candidates with at least 5 years of HR experience.
• Familiarity with payroll software and systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of labor laws and payroll regulations.
• Passionate about contributing to the education movement.
• Responsible for processing staff compensation and payroll accurately and timely.
• Maintain proper documentation to support payroll processing for approval and audits.
• Ensure timely updates and accuracy of staff personal, compensation, and other information in electronic systems.
• Handle monthly statutory contribution submissions before deadlines.
• Prepare and issue HR-related letters and reports (confirmation, resignation, memos, staff updates, directories).
• Assist with staff annual appraisal follow-ups and updates.
• Assist in processing staff insurance claims and manage medical insurance affairs, including updates with insurance providers.
• Monitor staff leave applications.
• Manage payments and basic accounts.
• Support recruitment strategies, source talent, and manage costs.
• Shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews, prepare job offers, and facilitate onboarding.
• Conduct orientation sessions for new staff and maintain employee records.
• Provide HR policy guidance and support workforce planning and employee relations.
• Identify training needs, coordinate training sessions, and manage related documentation.
• Handle work permit applications, renewals, cancellations, and foreign worker onboarding.
• Manage foreign workers' payroll, dormitory matters, and queries related to workers and subcontractors.
