About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Human Resource (HR) professional to join SHIAN LIANG PETROLEUM SDN. BHD.' as the Human Resource cum Admin. Based in Kuching, Sarawak, this full-time role will see you playing a key part in supporting the company's HR and administrative functions.

What you'll be doing

Manage the full spectrum of HR activities, including employee onboarding, performance management, learning and development, and end-of-employment processes

Provide guidance and advice to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices

Administer payroll, benefits, and other HR-related systems and processes

Assist with the development and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives to support the company's business goals

Handle administrative tasks such as filing, record-keeping, and general office support

Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR and administrative practices

What we're looking for

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar HR generalist or HR business partner role, preferably in the oil and gas industry

Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations

Proficient in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with employees at all levels

Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
