Ban Hin Bee Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented and dedicated Human Resource Assistant to join our team in George Town, Penang. This full-time position is crucial in supporting our Human Resources and Recruitment functions, with a particular focus on Mandarin-speaking candidates.

What you'll be doing

  • Assisting with the full recruitment lifecycle, including job posting, screening applications, scheduling interviews, and onboarding new hires
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and documentation, ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed
  • Providing support for Mandarin-speaking candidates throughout the recruitment process
  • Handling employee inquiries and requests related to HR matters
  • Collaborating with the HR team to implement various HR initiatives and programs
  • Providing administrative support to the HR department as needed

What we're looking for

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar HR assistant or administrative role
  • Strong proficiency in both English and Mandarin, both written and verbal
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
