The role involves overseeing recruitment, compliance with labor laws, and developing employee training programs. Oversee the entire recruitment process, from job postings and candidate sourcing to interviews and hiring.
2) HR Operations Management:
Oversee daily HR operations, including employee records management, HR systems, and compliance with university policies and labor laws.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll, benefits administration, and other HR-related transactions.
Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
3) Talent Development:
Identify training and development needs through performance appraisals, employee feedback, and organizational goals.
Design and implement training programs to enhance employee skills, competencies, and career development.
Coordinate with external training providers and manage training budgets.
4) Performance Management:
Support the implementation of performance management systems, including goal setting, performance reviews, and feedback processes.
Provide guidance and training to managers and employees on performance management practices.
Monitor and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement.
5) Employee Engagement and Retention:
Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Conduct employee surveys and feedback sessions to gauge satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Implement retention strategies to reduce turnover and enhance employee loyalty.
6) Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws and university policies in all HR practices.
Manage HR-related risks and maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and documentation.
Handle employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary actions, in accordance with legal requirements.
Ensure the completeness and accuracy of HR related data, records, and reports in compliance with the internal and governing bodies and statutory regulatory and requirements that also involves KPT, MQA and others.
7) HR Projects and Initiatives:
Lead or participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving HR processes and systems.
Stay updated on HR trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the university.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives.
8) Administration:
Act as a liaison and person in-charge for all related matters under Administration of the University.
Perform work related to the hostel and its management.
Perform all related work under Administration, renovation and processes until its completion.
Stay updated on Administration trends and best practices to bring innovative ideas to the university.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support organizational objectives in terms of Administration.
Requirements:
1) Education:
The candidate should possess at least a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or an equivalent qualification.
2) Experience:
At least 5 years of working experience in Human Resources, including a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role.
Strong leadership skills, able to drive for result through effective working with team members and associates.
Detailed, good analytical skills. good communication skills.
4) Others
The candidate must be willing to work in Johor Bahru.
