Job summary

Fluor Corporation in Penang, Malaysia, invites applications for an HSE Supervisor to support final construction, commissioning, startup, testing, and project close-out for a major semiconductor FAB project. You will lead safety inspections, toolbox talks, and oversee PTW/LOTO programs on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in industrial construction projects.
• Experience supporting commissioning and startup activities.
• Semiconductor, cleanroom, data center, pharmaceutical, or advanced manufacturing experience preferred.
• NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, or equivalent safety certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of PTW, LOTO, work-at-height, confined space, lifting, and hot work requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits.
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings.
• Monitor PTW, Risk Assessments, and LOTO compliance.
• Provide HSE oversight during electrical energization, HVAC & MEP commissioning, process tool installation and startup, chemical and gas system commissioning, and fire protection testing.
• Monitor contractor safety performance and enforce site requirements.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
• Support emergency response drills and site readiness activities.

Project: Semiconductor Manufacturing Facility (FAB)

Duration: Contract Position

We are seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to support the final construction, commissioning, startup, testing, and project close-out phases of a major semiconductor project.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits
• Lead toolbox talks and safety briefings
• Monitor Permit-to-Work (PTW), Risk Assessments, and LOTO compliance
• Provide HSE oversight during:
  • Electrical energization
  • HVAC & MEP commissioning
  • Process tool installation and startup
  • Chemical and specialty gas system commissioning
  • Fire protection and life safety testing
• Monitor contractor safety performance and enforce site requirements
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
• Support emergency response drills and site readiness activities
