Job summary

A leading company in poultry farming seeks a Health Safety and Environment Officer to ensure compliance with safety and health regulations. • Responsible for the implementation of safety, health, and environmental practices in the Company(s);
• Monitor and implement the Company’s Safety Management System to ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements and continuously improve the system through internal audits, awareness briefings, trainings, and induction programs;
• Ensure procedures and practices comply with safety, health, and environmental statutory acts/regulations;
• Identify potential hazards, assess risks on the Company’s premises, and determine control measures to ensure employee safety;
• Create safety and health reports, including recommended action plans for infrastructure, procedures, and practices for ongoing improvement;
• Liaise with government authorities such as DOSH, BOMBA, DOE, and others on safety and health matters, ensuring timely submission of reports;
• Undertake project work, assignments, or ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least a degree or diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Science, or equivalent;
• OSH Coordinator trained person is an advantage;
• Able to work independently;
• Willing to work in Yong Peng.
