HSE Manager

Ensure the safety of personnel through compliance with Workplace Safety & Health Act and other legislations.

1. Anchor and manage the safety management system for the entire contract site.
2. Conduct routine safety audits/inspections/CWalk.
3. Carry out and encourage hazard reporting.
4. Organize safety education programs such as training, talks, and other activities to develop and maintain the interest of the persons employed on the site to establish a safe and healthy working environment.
5. Report and investigate any incidents or accidents that take place within the site and recommend corrective actions needed to prevent recurrence.
6. Document all safety violations or unsafe conditions/activities; ensure corrective measures are immediately implemented; follow through to ensure corrections have been made.
7. Stay abreast of current and emerging technical and professional aspects of this position.
8. Manage and control PTW System.
9. Work closely with the HQ Safety team.

1. Registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer (RWSHO).
2. At least 3 years relevant experience in an HSE role.
3. Well versed in HSE regulations and practices.
4. Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to a changing business environment.
5. Recognised Diploma or above from a recognised tertiary establishment.
