Job Overview

The Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive HSE programs that ensure compliance with regulations, minimize operational risks, and foster a culture of safety excellence across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and standards aligned with relevant regulations and industry best practices
  • Lead incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrences
  • Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend appropriate control measures
  • Provide technical guidance and support to operational teams on HSE matters
  • Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees at all levels
  • Track and analyze HSE performance metrics and prepare reports for management
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal HSE regulations
  • Manage emergency response planning and coordinate drills
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate HSE considerations into business decisions
  • Stay current with regulatory changes and emerging HSE trends
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of progressive HSE management experience
