Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a seasoned SHE/HSE leader to drive plant-wide Safety, Health and Environmental programmes within a regional manufacturing operation. You will manage systems, ensure compliance, and lead environmental and risk management initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering or related field, 5+ years of SHE/HSE experience, and hands-on ISO 45001/14001 exposure. SHO status is advantageous, with strong stakeholder engagement across regulators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of SHE/HSE management experience in the past 10 years.
• NIOSH Diploma or equivalent in Occupational Safety & Health.
• Hands-on experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 management systems.
• Strong knowledge of HIRARC methodologies and risk management practices.
• Experience in incident investigation and emergency response management.
• Proven experience managing contractor safety and permit-to-work systems.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and liaising with DOSH, DOE and BOMBA.
• SHO status and FMCG manufacturing experience are advantageous.
