Job summary

L&R Logistics invites applications for an HSE Intern to join our Health, Safety & Environment team in Shah Alam. You will report to the HSE Manager and Officers, gaining hands-on experience in enforcing site safety protocols and performing daily ground inspections across warehouses, yards, and offices.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in OSH, Environmental Health, Engineering, or related fields, with basic Excel/Word skills and good communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety & Health (OSH), Environmental Health, Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Site Patrols (Ronda): daily safety walks to ensure safety protocol adherence.
• PPE Enforcement: monitor and enforce PPE compliance for staff, drivers, sub-contractors, and foreign workers.
• Driver Safety Checks: assist in routine drug/alcohol screening and verify safety credentials before dispatch.
• Safety Equipment Inspections: check fire extinguishers, first-aid kits, spill kits, and exit routes.
• Hazard Reporting: log near-miss events and unsafe acts in the HSE database.
• HSE Support: organize toolbox talks, fire drills, and brief foreign workers on site safety guidelines.
