Job summary

Hartalega Holdings Berhad in Malaysia seeks an Executive - HSE Centralised (Firefighting System Management) to coordinate emergency preparedness and monitor firefighting systems across manufacturing sites. You will ensure compliance with BOMBA, OSHA 2024 amendments, and EQA, while collaborating with site HSE teams to standardise practices and strengthen fire safety readiness.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience coordinating emergency drills across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of BOMBA, OSHA (2024) and EQA requirements.
• Familiarity with firefighting systems and emergency response infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute multi-scenario emergency drills (fire, chemical spill, gas leak, ammonia, chlorine, CAAS) with site HSE teams.
• Design realistic drill scenarios and simulation plans to strengthen site emergency response readiness.
• Review drill reports, validate findings, and track corrective‑action closure for central visibility.
• Consolidate drill performance data and prepare improvement analyses for management reporting.
• Manage ERT training schedules, maintain training matrices, and track responder certification renewals.
• Conduct ERT competency reviews and record assessment outcomes in centralized systems.
• Facilitate cross‑site emergency preparedness campaigns, awareness sessions, and knowledge sharing activities.
• Monitor inspection and preventive‑maintenance schedules for firefighting systems (alarm panels, extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, hoses) and verify service completion records.
• Maintain and update ER procedures, SOPs, and emergency plans under controlled documentation and versioning.
• Compile BOMBA/DOSH / local council compliance files for inspections and Fire Certificate applications/renewals, and track ER inventory/budget data for monthly dashboards.
