- Partner with HQ leadership to understand business needs and deliver HR strategies that drive organizational effectiveness, employee engagement and workforce planning.
- Contribute to the development and execution of HR strategies aligned with organization objectives.
2. HR Policy, Compliance & Governance
- Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in compliance with Malaysian labour laws
- Partner with HQ leadership to ensure the compliance with organization objectives
- Provide advice on employment regulations, disciplinary actions, and employee relations to mitigate legal risks.
- Conduct salary market analysis to ensure competitive compensation practices.
3. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Oversee hiring processes including resume screening and interviews, salary negotiation, offer proposal and onboarding.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition partner to meet manpower needs and succession planning efforts.
- Managing offboarding process which include - resignations, terminations, and exit interviews.
4. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Manage employee relations by addressing grievances, conducting investigations, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Champion company values and lead employee engagement and communication initiatives.
- Organize internal events such as team-building activities to strengthen culture and morale.
5. Performance & Development
- Implement and manage performance management systems, including goal setting, appraisals, and feedback.
- Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives to upskill employees.
- Partner with HQ leadership to ensure alignment of training frameworks.
- Conduct market surveys and benchmarking studies to evaluate and enhance the company’s total rewards offering (e.g., benefits, allowances, leave entitlements) to remain competitive in attracting and retaining talent.
- Collaborate with HQ leadership and propose improvements to employee compensation and benefits frameworks.
- Administer compensation programs, perform salary reviews, bonus plans, and employee benefits (e.g. medical benefits, allowances and etc.)
7. HR Operations & Service Delivery
- Collaborate with HR HQ functions (payroll, operations, recruitment, benefits) to ensure consistent and high-quality HR services.
8. Data-Driven HR
- Leverage HR data and metrics to identify trends, improve processes, and support data-driven decision-making.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in an HRBP or advisory capacity.
- Solid knowledge of HR operations, Malaysian Employment Act, and HRMS systems.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with strong ability to interpret, communicate, and act on HR data.
- Agile and adaptable in managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
