MAIN PURPOSE OF ROLE

  • Maintainemployeeinformationthatisaccurate,meetstheorganization'slegalobligations,andassistsinhumanresourcemanagementandplanning.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processchangestotheorganization'shumanresourceprogramsandpoliciesinaccordancewithguidelinessothattheseprogramsareimplementedaccuratelyandfairly.

  • Maintainemployeerecordsmanuallyorinahumanresourcesinformationsystem(HRIS)sothatinformationisaccurateandsecure.

  • Datamanagedmayincludepersonalinformation,jobhistory,retirementandinsurancedocumentation,leaveaccrualrecords,anddetailsofillness,absences,transfers,andsalaryprogression.

  • Analyzedataandpreparereportsformanagement,tomeetlegalobligations,orforexternalagencies.

  • Statisticsanalyzedmayincludeemployeedemographics,skillsinventory,absences,overtime,oremployeeturnover.

  • Respondtoenquiriesfromemployees,managersandexternalagencies(suchasgovernmentdepartmentsorinsurers)aboutindividualandorganization-widehumanresourceinformation,withoutcompromisingtheorganization'sstandardsofprivacyandconfidentiality.
