Job Title: Human Resources Senior Executive
Department: Human Resources
Location: Dz Card Malaysia
Reports To: General Manager

Job Purpose

The Human Resources Senior Executive will oversee all aspects of human resources practices and processes to ensure alignment with Dz Card Malaysia’s strategic direction. This includes leading talent acquisition, performance management, employee relations, compliance, training and development, payroll, and organizational culture initiatives in line with group policies and local employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the overall business objectives of dz card Malaysia.

Partner with leadership to support organizational growth, transformation, and culture building.

Lead HR initiatives for ISO/QMS, audits, and HR-related compliance (e.g., labor standards, ILS requirements).

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Oversee end-to-end recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.

Work closely with department heads to forecast hiring needs and optimize manpower planning.

Build talent pipelines through partnerships, internships, and employer branding.

3. Employee Relations & Industrial Relations

Serve as a point of contact for employee grievances, counseling, and conflict resolution.

Ensure effective disciplinary and grievance procedures are in place and comply with Malaysian labor law.

Maintain positive employee relations and engagement across all levels.

Oversee payroll processing, statutory contributions, and benefits administration.

Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure the competitiveness of pay structures.

Manage performance appraisal and reward systems.

Identify training needs and implement training plans (technical, soft skills, leadership).

Support implementation of on-the-job training (OJT), TNA, and skill matrix evaluations.

Work with internal and external training providers (e.g., HRDC).

6. Policy, Compliance & Documentation

Maintain and update employee handbooks, HR policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Ensure compliance with PDPA, Employment Act, and other legal requirements.

Manage audits, HR reports, and documentation for QMS, WRAP, or ILS frameworks.

7. HR Systems & Reporting

Manage HRIS systems and ensure the accuracy of employee data and records.

Provide HR dashboards, KPI reports, and monthly analysis to management.

Track and analyze metrics related to absenteeism, turnover, overtime, productivity, and other key performance indicators.

Requirements

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 5 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a senior role.

Experience in manufacturing or high-security environments is an advantage.

Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor law and HR best practices.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.

Strategic thinker with hands-on execution ability.

Proficient in Microsoft Office 360, payroll systems, and HR software (e.g., Kakitangan & TimeTec).

Working Conditions

Based in the Dz Card Malaysia office at Jalan Chan Sow Lin

May require occasional travel to support company activities or audits.

Must maintain discretion and confidentiality in all HR matters.
