The Payroll HR Specialist at Stellantis plays a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee payroll, adhering to company policies and applicable regulations. This position is responsible for managing payroll activities, resolving payroll-related issues, and supporting HR functions.
Payroll Processing:
Collect and verify timekeeping information, including timecards, timesheets, and attendance records.
Calculate and process payroll for employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and national regulations.
Manage and record employee deductions, benefits, and contributions accurately.
Compliance and Reporting:
Stay updated with labor laws and tax regulations to ensure payroll compliance.
Generate and submit payroll reports, tax reports, and other payroll-related documentation as required by relevant authorities.
Data Management:
Maintain and update employee payroll records, including personal information, tax exemptions, and direct deposit details.
Handle confidential payroll data with utmost discretion and security.
Payroll Issue Resolution:
Address and resolve payroll discrepancies and inquiries promptly.
Work closely with employees to address any payroll-related concerns and provide assistance.
Benefit Administration:
Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks.
Ensure accurate deductions and contributions for benefits.
HR Support:
Collaborate with the HR team to assist with various HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee records maintenance.
Participate in HR projects and initiatives as needed.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
Strong knowledge of payroll laws, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Proven experience in payroll processing and HR administration, demonstrating the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations.
